The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced recruitment for the positions of Lecturer in DIET (District Institutes of Education and Training)Â across Assam.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the position of Lecturer in DIETs under the Directorate of SCERT Assam, candidates must meet specific criteria set by the Assam Public Service Commission:-
- Domicile: The applicant must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam. Proof of residency, such as a valid Permanent Resident Certificate or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate, will be required.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks, along with M.Ed and NET/SLET/PhD. Specific subject requirements may vary based on the DIET and specialization.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 to 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024. Age relaxations are applicable to reserved categories as per government norms.
