The Directorate of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar has invited application from eligible candidates of BTR region and permanent residents of Assam for filling up 141 vacancies of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in the different Provincialized Secondary Schools of BTR. 

As per the BTR Post Graduate Teacher Recruitment Notification 2024, the online application link has been concluded on 2nd March 2024. But, all those candidates who had applied online for the BTR PGT Teacher Recruitment 2024 must submit the application fee of Rs. 950/- through the BTR recruitment portal at www.recruitment.bodoland.gov.in with 31 July 2024.

BTR GT PGT TET Result 2025: 17 June 2025

The BTR GT PGT Examination was conducted on 24 November 2024 for the recruitment of 1,613 Graduate Teacher (GT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts across various provincialized schools in the BTR region.

The BTC GT PGT Result 2025 has announced today, 17 June 2025. All official updates and result links has available here once released.

Candidates who appeared for the BTC GT PGT TET exam are advised to regularly visit the official BTR Education portal at education.bodoland.gov.in to check and download their results.

BTR GT PGT Document Verification 

UPDATE: The Director of Education, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) has released the scheduled for document verification of candidates who appeared for the written examination for Graduate Teacher (GT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) on 24 November 2024. The verification process will be conducted from  01 April 2025 to 06 April 2025 from 10 A.M. onwards at the Bodoland Staff College, Bodofa Cultural Complex, Kokrajhar. Candidates are required to bring all the original certificates, marksheets, and other professional qualification along with duly filled Annexure – I format.

BTR PGT Exam Date 2024 

BTR TET Exam for Post Graduate Teachers have been rescheduled on 24th November 2024. Candidates are advised to re-download the BTR GT PGT Admit Card 2024 from the Bodoland University and Director of Education BTC website on or before 14th November 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for BTC PGT Teacher Recruitment includes, educational qualifications, age limits, etc, which are discussed in details below.

BTC PGT Teacher Educational Qualification

1. Post Graduate degree in concerned subject with at least 50% marks from recognized university, and should possess B.Ed from an institute recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.
2. The candidate shall have to read the same subject as on of the subject in Degree level.

In addition to the academic and professional qualification, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria:

1. In case of Assamese Medium School, the application must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Assamese language as one of the subjects or have diploma in Assamese Language issued by the Assam Sahitya Sabha or read up to HSLC level in Assamese Medium School.
2. In case of Bengali Medium School, the application must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bengali language as one of the subjects or have diploma in Bengali Language issued by the Barak Upatyaka Bangya Sahitya O Sanskriti Sammelan or read up to HSLC level in Bengali Medium School.
3. In case of Hindi Medium School, the application must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Hindi language as one of the subjects or read up to HSLC level in Hindi Medium School.
4. In case of Bodo Medium School, the application must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bodo language as one of the subjects or read up to HSLC level in Bodo Medium School.
5. In case of English Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with alternative English as one of the subject or read from Class XI onwards in English Medium School.

Provided that for recruitment of teachers for teaching MIL subjects the candidate who passed HSLC Examination with particular MIL Subject shall be considered.
