The Directorate of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar has invited application from eligible candidates of BTR region and permanent residents of Assam for filling up 141 vacancies of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in the different Provincialized Secondary Schools of BTR. 

As per the BTR Post Graduate Teacher Recruitment Notification 2024, the online application link has been concluded on 02/03/2024. But, all those candidates who had applied online for the BTR PGT Teacher Recruitment 2024 must submit the application fee of Rs. 950/- through the BTR recruitment portal at www.recruitment.bodoland.gov.in with 31/07/2024.

BTR PGT Exam Date 2024 

BTR TET Exam for Post Graduate Teachers have been rescheduled on 24 November 2024. Candidates are advised to re-download the BTR GT PGT Admit Card 2024 from the Bodoland University and Director of Education BTC website on or before 14 November 2024.

• The District-wise, subject-wise, medium-wise, and category-wise posts details of BTC PGT Recruitment 2024 will be notified on the BTC official website at education.bodoland.gov.in 2024 

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for BTC PGT Teacher Recruitment includes, educational qualifications, age limits, etc, which are discussed in details below.

BTC PGT Teacher Educational Qualification

1. Post Graduate degree in concerned subject with at least 50% marks from recognized university, and should possess B.Ed from an institute recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.
2. The candidate shall have to read the same subject as on of the subject in Degree level.

In addition to the academic and professional qualification, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria:

1. In case of Assamese Medium School, the application must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Assamese language as one of the subjects or have diploma in Assamese Language issued by the Assam Sahitya Sabha or read up to HSLC level in Assamese Medium School.
2. In case of Bengali Medium School, the application must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bengali language as one of the subjects or have diploma in Bengali Language issued by the Barak Upatyaka Bangya Sahitya O Sanskriti Sammelan or read up to HSLC level in Bengali Medium School.
3. In case of Hindi Medium School, the application must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Hindi language as one of the subjects or read up to HSLC level in Hindi Medium School.
4. In case of Bodo Medium School, the application must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bodo language as one of the subjects or read up to HSLC level in Bodo Medium School.
5. In case of English Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with alternative English as one of the subject or read from Class XI onwards in English Medium School.

Provided that for recruitment of teachers for teaching MIL subjects the candidate who passed HSLC Examination with particular MIL Subject shall be considered.
