BTR VFA Training Admission 2025 Notification
The Director of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, BTC, Kokrajhar has invited applications for the Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) Training 2025. The training program will be of one year duration and will be conducted at the School of Veterinary Science & A.H., Ghungoor, Silchar, Assam. A total of 71 seats are available for admission as per the reservation policy of the Sixth Schedule area.
Eligibility Criteria for VFA Training Course in BTC
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed HSSLC (Science) with Biology from a recognized Board or Council.
- Must fulfill the requirements under the BTC VFA Training Admission Rules.
Age Limit (as of 01/01/2025)
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- SC/ST (P)/ST (H): 5 years
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) Training based on the following:
- Percentage of marks in HSSLC (Science) with Biology: 40%
- Percentage of marks in HSLC: 20%
- Personnel Assessment Test (PAT): 40%
The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks (a+b+c) as per the reservation policy.
