Assam Science and Technology University started the Assam JLEE 2025 registration process on 23 May 2025. Candidates who wish to appear for the Joint Lateral Entry Examination (JLEE) 2025 must fill out the application form online at astu.ac.in.
Only those who have completed a Diploma from a recognized Polytechnic institute are eligible to apply. The last date to apply was 2 June 2025. The JLEE 2025 exam was conducted on 22 June 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
As per last year’s schedule, the Assam JLEE counselling process started in mid-August and continued till September. For 2025, the counselling is also expected to begin around mid-August and may last through September 2025. JLEE Assam 2025 Eligibility Citeria
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
- Must have a recognized 3-year Diploma from any of the following institutions in Assam:
- State Council of Technical Education (SCTE), Assam
- Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Guwahati
- Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar
- Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar
- Must have secured a minimum of 45% marks (General) and 40% marks (OBC/MOBC-NCL, SC, ST(P), ST(H)) in the Diploma.
- Must have a valid JLEE 2025 rank for admission.
Assam JLEE 2025 Exam Pattern
The JLEE exam 2025 consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided in the following sections:-
