Free Coaching To The Youth of Matak Community Students for UPSC/APSC Examination

The Govt of Assam has launched a significant initiative aimed at providing free coaching to the youth of the Matak community for UPSC and APSC examinations, similar to the Bodofa Super 50 Mission and Rabha Hasong Talent 20 Mission.

The scheme is specially designed for students belonging to the Matak community, a recognized ethnic group of Assam. The initiative aims to the educational needs of this community by providing opportunities that could lead to the prestigious in civil services.

In this regard, the office of the District Commissioner, Dibrugarh invites applications from Youth of Matak community of Assam for the 08 months Govt sponsored residential coaching for UPSC and APSC under One Time Special Grants for Development of Matak Community – Phase III. A total of 40 prospective candidates will be shortlisted to get coaching at Guwahati through this scheme. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on or before 16/08/2024. 

Eligibility Criteria

1. Coaching will be provided to the candidates belonging to Matak community who are graduate in any stream.
2. The candidates must not be less than 21 years and not more than years of age to avail the coaching programme.

Selection Process

The selection of aspiring candidates for free UPSC APSC coaching will be through:-

• Written Test
• Personal Interview

The written test will consist of General Studies (100 objective type questions each carrying 2 marks and 5 subjective questions each carrying 10 marks as per syllabus of APSC and UPSC).

The list of eligible candidates to appear in the test will be uploaded on the official website of the O/o the District Commisioner Dibrugarh at dibrugarh.assam.gov.in on 20/08/2024.

How to Apply for Free UPSC and APSC Coaching for Matak Community Sudents?

Interested and eligible candidates may download the application form from the official website at dibrugarh.assam.gov.in or collect the same from the Office of the District Commissioner Dibrugarh.

Last date for submission of application is 16th August 2024. Scanned copy of dully filled up application may be sent to email id maccoaching2022@gmail.com or candidates may submit a copy of filled up application to the District Commissioner’s Office of Dibrugarh along with requisite documents.
