BTR VCDC Secretary Recruitment 2025 | 420 Vacancy

Good news for the people o Bodoland. The Assam cabinet has finally approved the for creation of 420 posts of secretary in Village Council Development Committee (VCDC) in the BTR region administered by the BTC govt. Candidates belonging to the newly added 60 posts of villages from Biswanath and Sonitpur District to Udalguri District BTR are also eligible to apply for the posts.

Through this PNRD Assam recruitment in BTR notification no. No.E-272303/77, the govt of BTC are given the authority to conduct the VCDC recruitment of Secretary through their CSB recruitment portal.

VCDC is local self government organization in the Bodoland (BTR) that serves as the alternative to Village Panchayats of Assam. Its a grassroots level govt that handles local governance in the areas governed by the BTC.

The VCDC plays a crucial role in the administration and development of rural areas, particularly within autonomous councils such as the BTR area. The Secretary in VCDC is responsible for managing the administration of The VCDC.
