The Directorate of Education, BTC, has issued an official notification on 20 June 2025 for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers for Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools across the BTR region. Candidates who have qualified in the BTC TET or Assam TET or Central TET for LP and UP levels are eligible to apply for the BTR LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2025. 

The online application process began on 21 June 2025 and remained open till 3 July 2025. Eligible candidates are encouraged to submit their applications through the official website of the Director of Education, BTC, at education.bodoland.gov.in. The application edit window is open and will remain available until 2 July 2025.

NOTE: Regular teachers currently serving in the same post under the Directorate of Education, BTC, are not eligible to apply.

BTR LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2025

Candidates from the newly included villages under BTR, as per Notification No. ACS/LW/SEED/COOP/CA/04-A/2025/03 dated Dispur, 5th June 2025, shall be treated as BTR candidates.”

This implies that all residents of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), including those from the 81 villages newly incorporated into the BTR jurisdiction as per the above notification, are now eligible to apply as BTR candidates and will be given preference in the recruitment process. 

BTR LP UP Teacher Document Verification 2025 Started

The Director of Education, BTR, Kokrajhar has released the schedule for Physical Document Verification for the posts of LP and UP Assistant Teachers. The verification process will start from 10 July 2025 and continue till 19 July 2025.

Candidates must bring the duly filled-up verification form along with all required documents during the verification process. Those who have completed the D.El.Ed. course from NIOS are required to submit the necessary testimonials/documents as per Government Notification No. EAA/SIU/36/2025/3 dated 17th June 2025.
