Assam Science and Technology University has commenced the Assam JLEE 2025 registration process on 23 May 2025. Candidates who wish to appear for the Assam Joint Lateral Entry Examination 2025 have to fill the JLEE application form in online mode. The authority has activated the Assam JLEE 2025 registration link at astu.ac.in.
Aspirants who have completed a Diploma from a recognized polytechnic institute will be able to apply for the JLEE exam 2025 till 2nd June 2025. JLEE 2025 exam date is scheduled on 22 June 2025 from 11 am – 2 pm.

What is JLEE 2025?
Joint Lateral Entrance Examination (JLEE) is an entrance exam, conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) for lateral entry into the 2nd year (3rd Semester) of the engineering programs (B.E/B.Tech) in various engineering college in Assam.
JLEE exam is typically meant for diploma holders in polytechnic who seek to continue their education directedly into the 3rd semester of B.Tech programme.
JLEE Exam 2025 Assam Eligibility
To be eligible for Admission to any of the Colleges a candidate must fulfill the following conditions:-
- The Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam.
- Candidates must have a Recognized Diploma of Minimum of 3 years duration from any Polytechnic Institution of Assam under the following:
- State Council of Technical Education(SCTE), Assam.
- Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Guwahati, Assam.
- Assam Energy Institute, Sivasagar/
- Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar
- A minimum aggregate of 45% marks for general category, and 40% for OBC/MOBC)NCL/ SC/ST(P)/ST(H) candidates in their diploma is required.
- The candidate must have a valid rank in the Entrance Examination (JLEE-2025) for admission.
Assam JLEE 2025 Exam Pattern
The JLEE exam 2025 will consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided in the following sections:-
